Principal's Message

Dear M. B. Lamar Middle School Community, What an absolutely incredible school year it has been! As the final bells ring and summer arrives, we look back with immense pride at everything our students, staff, and families have accomplished. This year, we challenged our community to embrace the "Return of the Roar," and you delivered in every way possible. We saw that spirit shine brightly in our classrooms through academic growth, on the stage and athletic fields through teamwork, and across our campus through daily acts of kindness and respect. To our incredible parents, guardians, and community partners, thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement throughout the year. You are the backbone of our success, and we truly could not do this without our amazing village. To our students, you have earned this break. As you head into the summer months, we hope you take the time to rest, recharge, explore new passions, and make unforgettable memories. Remember that the roar doesn't stop just because the school building is closed for the season. Take your courage, your kindness, and your M. B. Lamar pride with you wherever your summer adventures lead. To our departing eighth graders, we wish you the absolute best as you take your fierce Lion spirit into high school.
