Dear Lamar Middle School Community, Testing season is here, Lions! As we move into this important time of the year, I want to take a moment to remind our students and families that success starts with preparation and a positive mindset. At M.B. Lamar Middle School, we are committed to helping every student excel, and we are confident that with focus and determination, they will do their very best. We begin with TELPAS, followed by STAAR, and every assessment is an opportunity to showcase all the learning and growth our students have achieved. To ensure success, here are a few key reminders: 🔹 Attendance Matters: Being present every day is essential—don’t miss valuable review sessions! 🔹 Rest and Nutrition: A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast can make a big difference. 🔹 Stay Prepared: Bring charged devices and necessary materials for testing days. 🔹 Positive Mindset: Confidence is key! Encourage your child to do their best and stay focused. Our theme, “Restore the Roar,” is more than just words—it’s about showing our strength, resilience, and dedication to academic success.
