On behalf of Cigarroa High School, we extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who helped make our Family Reading & STEAM Technology Night—held on Thursday, October 16th, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. in the CHS Library—a truly out-of-this-world experience! 🌎💫
Over 350 attendees joined us as we brought this year’s theme to life:
🌠 “Let’s All Read, Soar, and Explore to InfinITy and Beyond!” 🧑🚀
The afternoon was filled with energy, creativity, and curiosity as families explored hands-on STEAM activities and celebrated the joy of reading and discovery.
💙 A special shout-out to:
🎶 Our Mariachi Azteca students, CHS Silver Roses, and FFA Department for sharing their amazing talents and school pride.
📖 Principal Mr. Armando Molina, our Guest Reader, for his captivating reading of Haunted Houses by Lisa Owings—a perfect seasonal favorite!
👏 Heartfelt thanks to our teachers, administrators, and community presenters for your time and expertise, and to our parents and families for your ongoing support in nurturing a love of reading at home. And of course, to our students—your enthusiasm and participation make it all worthwhile!
Together, we made this year’s event an unforgettable celebration of learning, literacy, and community spirit. 💫
