M. B. Lamar Middle School hosted a dynamic and well-attended Career Day today, welcoming more than 40 professionals from a variety of fields to engage with students and share their career journeys. The campus was transformed into an interactive learning experience as students rotated through presentations designed to connect classroom learning with real-world opportunities.

Students heard directly from professionals in healthcare, law enforcement, education, business, skilled trades, and other industries 🩺🚓💼📚. Presenters shared their personal experiences, education pathways, and the challenges and successes that shaped their careers, giving students a clearer understanding of the many possibilities available to them.

Counselor Ms. J. Pineda shared, “Career Day allows our students to see what is possible beyond middle school. When they hear real experiences from professionals, it helps them connect their current efforts to future goals and understand that every dream starts with a plan.”

The event was organized by the M. B. Lamar counseling team, whose planning and coordination ensured a smooth and engaging experience for all students and guests. Their work created meaningful opportunities for students to explore careers, ask questions, and envision their futures.
