The halls of M.B. Lamar Middle School were filled with color, laughter, and appreciation this week as the school hosted its special "Make a Bouquet with Mom" event.
The hands-on workshop invited students to work side-by-side with their mothers and mother figures to craft unique, everlasting paper flower bouquets. Leading the charge were the talented students of the Lamar Art Club, who took on a leadership role by helping participants design vibrant petals and hand-drawn stems. Every finished arrangement served as a beautiful, custom reflection of the bond between the students and their families.
School administration expressed deep gratitude for the strong turnout and the community spirit that defined the day.
"Thank you to all the Mama Lions who showed up and participated in this wonderful event," Ms. Galvan shared in a statement. "It was wonderful to see our students working side-by-side with their moms to craft everlasting paper flower bouquets... making every arrangement as unique as the bond being celebrated."
The successful event was made possible through the guidance of Lamar's art educators, who designed the engaging, step-by-step project.
"A special shout out to Mrs. Garza and Mrs. Trowbridge for creating a wonderful art lesson!" the school added, credited the teachers for fostering such a welcoming and creative environment.
The "Make a Bouquet with Mom" event successfully highlighted not only the artistic talents of the Lamar Lions but also the strong, supportive family community that defines the campus.
Thank you to all the families and staff who made this creative celebration such a blooming success!
