The M. B. Lamar Middle School volleyball program made a resounding statement on the court this weekend, putting on a dominant performance at the annual Laredo Independent School District Volleyball Tournament and securing top finishes in every division entered.

Demonstrating high-level execution, grit, and team cohesion, the Lady Lions walked away with three District Championship trophies and a runner-up title.

The tournament sweep included championship victories by the 7th Grade Green, 7th Grade White, and 8th Grade White teams, while the 8th Grade Green squad battled through a competitive field to finish as District Runner-Up.

From the initial serves of the opening rounds to the final points of the championship matches, the Lady Lions displayed disciplined court coverage, sharp communication, and steady composure under pressure.

"Every single team represented M. B. Lamar with immense pride and grit," the athletic program shared in a statement following the tournament. "We are so proud of all our Lady Lions for the hard work, teamwork, and dedication they bring to the court every day."

The program's success extends beyond the court, supported heavily by the dedicated coaching staff and an enthusiastic fan base of parents, staff, and community members who filled the stands throughout the tournament.

With three district titles in hand and momentum building, the future remains exceptionally bright for the M. B. Lamar Lady Lions volleyball program.
