The M. B. Lamar Middle School football program completed a historic sweep this season, with both the 7th grade and 8th grade teams securing District Championship titles in commanding fashion.
The dual championships cap off a season defined by disciplined play, relentless effort, and strong teamwork across both grade levels. Both squads demonstrated execution on both sides of the ball, securing top honors for the Lamar athletic program.
"This season was a testament to the character, grit, and work ethic of our young athletes," said Head Coach Tobias. "To see both our 7th and 8th graders battle every week and come out on top as champions is incredible. They bought into our system, played for each other, and represented M. B. Lamar with pride."
The championship success was supported by a unified campus effort. School administrators, faculty, and families filled the stands throughout the fall, while the Mighty Lion Band, Lion Cheerleaders, and Prancers provided game-day energy and spirit from kickoff to the final whistle.
Campus leadership expressed gratitude to the coaching staff, parents, and spirit groups whose combined support helped drive both teams to victory.
With two trophies added to the display case, M. B. Lamar Middle School celebrates a historic gridiron season: two teams, two championships, and one proud Lion community.
