🚨 CRITICAL REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE 🚨
You MUST have a current physical on file to step onto the floor or field. > * The physical must be dated after May 1st of this year.
No physical = No participation. No exceptions!

Yearbooks are a special keepsake filled with memories from this school year, and we want to ensure they stay safe. Please remind your children of these important guidelines as they receive theirs today:
Label it immediately: Students should write their names on the inside cover right away to help identify ownership if it gets misplaced.
Keep track of it: Please note that teachers and staff are not responsible for lost or misplaced yearbooks.
We encourage everyone to take good care of their yearbooks and enjoy reflecting on a wonderful year!

This is ONLY for 8th Grade students and those not returning to Lamar next year.
Bring your Chromebook and charger to your 2nd Period teacher.
Collection runs from May 11th to May 15th.
(6th and 7th graders staying at Lamar: Keep your devices!)

🚫🎒 Reminder for all Lamar Lions families:
For the remainder of the school year, students will not be allowed to bring backpacks or Chromebooks to school.
📌 8th grade students will bring their Chromebooks and chargers ONLY to turn it in to their homeroom teacher.
The following items are NOT allowed:
• Backpacks
• Gym bags
• Large purses/bags
✅ Small personal lunch bags will still be allowed.
Possible questions parents may have:
• “How will students carry their supplies?”
Students should only bring essential items that can be carried by hand or kept in a small lunch bag if needed.
• “Can students bring a purse?”
Only small personal items/lunch bags are allowed. Large purses and bags are not permitted.
• “What if my child still has their Chromebook?”
8th grade students will turn them in to their homeroom teacher on the designated collection day.
• “Will this apply every day?”
Yes, this will remain in effect for the rest of the school year.
